A systematic (no excuses, no exceptions, and total cohesive) implementation of the ''Hierarchy of The Startup Process'' is a must for any team that wants to build a successful Startup company that will eventually generate profit and/or go IPO (Initial Public Offering). Below are the steps used by Silicon Valley Sierra Leone, which are based on the Silicon Valley USA methodology (with slight changes in duration of steps 1-3):
DAY 1 to 12 MONTHS DECIDE THE IDEA. PERFECT THE TEAM.
1	IDEA	Any IDEA that will bring gain to humans or take away pain from humans is a good idea for a business. Human beings will pay YOU lots of money for facilitating their lives.
2	TEAM	The TEAM is the group of individuals acting as one unit who have dedicated their time and resources to implementing the IDEA. A wrong TEAM will kill the IDEA. This is time for sweat equity with 100% commitment; no exceptions or excuses.
3	ACCELERATOR	The ACCELERATOR or INCUBATOR is a resourceful outside individual or firm (company or agency) that continually and strategically pushes the TEAM to success. Great Accelerators are tenacious and will stretch the TEAM's mentality and capacity. The Accelerator helps the team through the winnowing process (funneling down to only the right people for the team).
3 MONTHS to 10 YEARS CREATE THE COMPANY. ENGAGE INVESTORS.
4	COMPANY	After the cohesive TEAM has worked with the ACCELERATOR to perfect the IDEA into a Startup business, they will register a ''LIMITED BY SHARE'' COMPANY and start operating as a legal business. Congratulations: your simple IDEA is now a startup COMPANY.
5	INVESTORS	After the COMPANY is active and legal, the TEAM can offer INVESTORS ownership of parts of the COMPANY through shares. INVESTORS must be vetted, accredited and can be individuals and/or companies. This is when 3-year full base pay kicks in for the TEAM.
IN PERPETUITY (FOREVER) SELL THE COMPANY TO THE PUBLIC (EVERYBODY).
6	PUBLIC	IPO (Initial Public Offering) is when the COMPANY offers itself to the world on an exchange market so that anyone can buy shares of the COMPANY. This is when Millionaires become Billionaires overnight. This is when the TEAM becomes extremely wealthy people.
